This plain doesn’t work and it’s annoyed me for months that something so simple and basic should be broken. Searching the Web for solutions doesn’t turn up much either, least of all from Microsoft. But I did unearth one nugget that suggests clicking Search Tools on the toolbar, then Search options… Now tick “Don’t use the Index… (might be slow).”
Yeah, might be slow. Might also finally be right. Nothing to do with birds or transformation. Just useful (sigh).
